The face behind the blog

My name is Georgie i’m (nearly) 34 and live in South West London, I mainly write about my personal experiences of being disabled in particular mental health difficulties and chronic illness. I work for a mental health charity however all views expressed here are entirely my on unless otherwise stated.

I have a strong passion for pubic speaking as well as writing and delivering training especially around equality and diversity, i’m a left-wing liberal looking to get more involved in activism and creating a small corner of the internet to express myself and my views.

Due to the nature of this blog triggers may arise and although I will do my best not to post anything too graphic and highlight potential triggers where I feel it necessary please take care when reading.
